Ethan Kurz, Mark Goldberg, and Kristina Shen have launched Chemistry Fund, a $350M early-stage venture fund targeting Seed and Series A investments. The fund is dedicated to supporting founders with high-conviction bets and offers a hands-on portfolio services team to work closely with its investments.

Michael Mignano and Nir Zicherman, former Anchor co-founders, have launched Oboe, a new company focused on making humanity smarter through AI-powered education. With Zicherman as CEO and Mignano remaining a full-time partner at Lightspeed, the company aims to leverage LLMs and novel educational methods to help people learn 10x more efficiently and effectively. They've secured $4M in initial funding from former Anchor investors and notable figures including EniacVC, Haystack Ventures, Factorial, and others.

Bereket Semagn has emerged from stealth with Butler, an AI assistant aimed at transforming workplace productivity. The company announced a $1.2M CAD pre-seed round alongside their launch. Butler is currently operating on a waitlist basis, with interested users able to request access through butler.ai.

Marc Bhargava, Managing Director at General Catalyst, announced the expansion of GC's Creation strategy with $8B in fresh capital, doubling the size of capital committed to the program. The Creation strategy focuses on three key areas: hatching new multi-disciplinary businesses, incubating technical teams to transform traditional companies, and supporting existing founders with strategic acquisitions.

Alex Izydorczyk has announced the closure of Cybersyn, with investors Coatue Management and Sequoia Capital offering to serve as references for former employees. The company's investors, partners, and customers were thanked for their support, and Izydorczyk is helping connect Cybersyn's team members with new opportunities.
